This is a great free program for learning preflop technique in poker. One should not however let this tool aid them too much as one needs to also know how to play post flop.

Preflopper - Review Excellent training tool, particularly for the Omaha illiterate :) It would be nice if it didn't require the .Net platform, as it acted a bit sluggish on my older system. The first version I downloaded was in Russian?. I did find the english version by going direct to the 'Soft for Poker' website.

Preflopper is a good tool to get started Preflopper accurately calcualtes the Hutchinson point count for all hands in Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, and Texas Hold'em. The HPC is useful for determining what hands should be played, and is an excellent tool for beginners who haven't learned the intrinsic value of hands.Preflopper also contains the author's own hold'em analysis tool, but it lacks directions and I have not yet figured out how to use it. The HPC tools, however, are easy to use and should serve beginners well.The file also contains html pages explaining the HPC and how to manually calcuate it, which will prove useful ...
